Freshmen Honors English: Go Away, I'm Reading!

In the second part of our first unit, students are reading an Independent Book of their choosing. From The Scarlet Letter to The Hate You Give, my readers are voracious. Everyone will be done with their book by Nov. 3, 2020. Then it's onto conversations and, eventually, writing. These kids are super bright, strong at annotating, and analyzing what their text says about various topics cropping up. All good stuff.
